Island Bakery Sweet Biscuits

Joe, the youngest of the four Reade brothers, and his wife Dawn make the Island Bakery Biscuits just across the field from Sgriob-Ruadh. We are proud to be able to offer our family produce available to purchase together.

The Island Bakery was started in 2001 with a new bakery built in 2012, powered by the same renewable energy sources used on our farm.  Our on farm hydro produces the electricity for the bakery, and their biscuit ovens are wood chip fired.
